Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women’s University (JVWU 2011) is the First Private State Women’s University in India. The State Legislature of Rajasthan has established the University under Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women’s University Act 2008 (Act No. 17 of 2008) and notified through its Official Gazette Notification No. P.2(23) Vidhi/2/2008 dated April 21, 2008. The University is empowered to award Certificates, Diplomas, Degrees and also Educational Rewards as per norms of Statutory Bodies as UGC, AICTE and such others. It is being funded by a charitable Trust named ‘Jyoti Vidyapeeth Trust’ Jaipur.
The University presently offers more than 30 programs for the award of Certificates, Diplomas, First Degree, Master and Doctoral Degrees in General and Professional fields in Normal or Dual Mode.The Jayoti Vidyapeeth Women’s University strives to become a leader in disciplinary teaching and research keeping integration of classroom learning with the real world experiences. The University has been making significant contribution for the empowerment of women by exploiting its full efforts and resources in providing equal status, opportunities and freedom to women for their development through education and motivation.
JVWU 2011 Selection Procedure:
- The selection JVWU 2011) for University courses is based on score of any entrance exam or on the merit of last qualifying examination.
- The University considers the Score of any Central/ State/ University level entrance examination.
- If any candidate does not have the Score card of any entrance examination then she will have to appear in our University’s Online or Offline Joint National Entrance Examination(JNEE).
- Some of the courses do not require any entrance examination; the last qualifying examination marks will be considered for merit in that case.

- 10th April 2011, Sunday at 11 A.M. to 1 P.M.
- 24th April 2011, Sunday at 11 A.M. to 1 P.M.
- First Pre Merit to be declared on:30th April 2011
