About Exam:
Aligarh Muslim University conducts an entrance examination for admission to its BA LLB course. Aligarh Muslim University is one of the oldest educational bodies of India established even before the independence of the country. It holds entrance examinations for its different courses separately every year. Entrance to all the BA LLB courses is through a separate entrance test conducted by AMU.
Aligarh Muslim University’s Law courses are highly reputed across the country. AMU provides the students with the best of faculty, infrastructure and facilities therefore a large number of students appear for AMU’s BA LLB Entrance every year from across the country. BA LLB is a 5 year undergraduate integrated program.
Eligibility Criteria:
1.Course of Study : B.A.LL.B.
Duration : 10 Semester
Minimum Qualification : Senior Secondary School Certificate or an equivalent examination with aggregate not less than 50% of the total marks.
Age Limit : Not more than 22 years as on July 1, 2010.
Selection Procedure : Candidates shall be selected for admission to B.A.LL.B. on the basis of the marks obtained in the Admission Test of Two Hours duration consisting of objective and short answer type questions of a standard expected of students having passed the SSSC Examination. The question paper of the Admission Test shall
comprise of :
(i) General English
(ii) Current Affairs/General knowledge (with emphasis on legal issues)
(iii) Reasoning and Aptitude

2.Course of Study : LL.M.
Duration : 4 Semester
Minimum Qualification : LL.B./B.A.LL.B. (5 Years Integrated Course) examination of this University or an examination recognized by the University as its equivalent with not
less than 55% marks.
Selection Procedure : Candidates shall be selected for admission on the basis of marks obtained in the Admission Test of Two Hours duration consisting of short answer
type questions of LL.B./BA.LL.B. standard.
