Aligarh Muslim University conducts an entrance examination for admission to its BA LLB course. Aligarh Muslim University is one of the oldest educational bodies of India established even before the independence of the country. It holds entrance examinations for its different courses separately every year. Entrance to all the BA LLB courses is through a separate entrance test conducted by AMU.

Aligarh Muslim University’s Law courses are highly reputed across the country. AMU provides the students with the best of faculty, infrastructure and facilities therefore a large number of students appear for AMU’s BA LLB Entrance every year from across the country. BA LLB is a 5 year undergraduate integrated program.

Eligibility Criteria:

A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with atleast 50% aggregate marks.

General English

Current Affairs/General knowledge (with emphasis on legal issues)

Reasoning and Aptitude

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU 2012) B.A.L.L.B. Entrance Exam will be conducted in 2012 by the Aligarh Muslim University. This Muhammedan Anglo Oriental College was founded by Sir Syed Ahmed Khan in the year 1875. One of the prime universities in India, Aligarh Muslim University provides both Indian and foreign students more than 250 courses. Aligarh Muslim University (AMU 2012) B.A.L.L.B. Entrance Exam 2012 will be held on 2nd week of May for the admission of wishful students to the B.A. LL.B course.

AMU 2012 B.A.L.L.B.: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have passed the senior secondary examination or equivalent with at least 50% marks in aggregate can apply for the course. Applicants looking for admission in the 5 years integrated B.A.L.L.B. course should be within 22 years as on 1st July, 2012.

AMU 2012 LLM: Eligibility Criteria

A candidate must have LLB/BA LLB degree with atleast 55% marks. Those in the final year can also apply.

For NRIs few seats are reserved ( Actual no. of seats will be decided by the university at the time of admission)
Eligibility : 10+2, 50% & NRIs - 60%

AMU 2012 Application Procedure

Application forms for AMU 2012 will be available at the website. Candidates have to download the form from the website and send the completed form along with a demand draft and necessary documents to AMU. Duly filled in application form should be accompanied by a demand draft drawn in favor of the Finance Officer, AMU, Aligarh, payable at the SBI, AMU Aligarh, should be sent to Admission section, Office of the Controller of Examination and admissions, AMU, Aligarh.
