Founder of Om Vidyalankar's Shikshan Sanstha Hon. Madhukar Narvekar & Anupama Narvekar Started Asmita College of Arts and Commerce for Women in the year 1989 with Junior College and Degree College was started from 1991. The College is affiliated to the University of Mumbai. New stream of Science junior college was started in the year 2008. Empowerment of Women through Education has been the broad objective with which the College was established.
