Balaji Law College (Affiliated to University of Pune, Recognised by Govt. of India, & Bar Council of India), under the aegis of Sri Balaji Society, upholds the Society credo of Discipline, Dedication, Determination. to the hilt. It is a new and young college whose vibrancy and youthful outlook is reflected in its course curriculum, its attitude towards students and the overall ambiance. In its short stint of operations, it has made a mark with innovative training methods and a strong emphasis on practical exposure to the students. Ample opportunity towards Co-curricular & Extra Curricular activities makes for a healthy and stress free environment. Courses Offered
- B.S.L. LL. B. (Five Year Law Course)
- Eligibility : H.S.C. or equivalent in any stream from recognised board with minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC / ST / NT / DTNT / OBC categories belonging to State of Maharashtra).
- LL. B (Three Year Law Course)
- Eligibility : Bachelor degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent with minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC / ST / NT / DTNT / OBC categories belonging to State of Maharashtra).
- Masters Degree in Labour Laws & Labour Welfare (MLL & LW) (2 Year Programme )
- Eligibility : A candidate applying for the M.L.L. programme should be a graduate in any faculty from a recognised University and should have obtained a minimum of 40% marks in the qualifying examination.
- Diploma in Taxation Laws (DTL) (1 Year Programme )
- Eligibility for admission requires the candidate to be a graduate of any faculty of any University whose degree is recognised to be equivalent to the corresponding degrees of Pune University.
- Diploma in Intellectual Property Laws (DIPL) (1 Year Programme )
- Eligibility : Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university or equivalent.
- Diploma in Cyber Laws (DCL) (1 Year Programme )
- Eligibility : Graduate in any discipline from a recognised university or equivalent.
Note: Those who will be passing their 12th Std. (for 5 years course) & Graduation exams (for 3 years course) by May/ June 2011 can also go through the selection process & seek provisional admission in all our selection centers.
Admission Procedure
Selection Criteria
- Every application for admission (Local or Otherwise) will be interviewed before admission is finally granted.
- At the time of admission a student will have to pay all the college fees and hostel dues. (If any)
- All students must take admission personally.
- All Admissions will be provisional and subject to confirmation by Principal and approval by the University.
- All students who have taken admission provisionally, due to non-availability of documents, etc., their admissions shall be cancelled for non-submission of documents within the stipulated time.
- Students taking provisional admission are required to pay half of the fees.
- Cancellation of admission and refund of fees as per the norms of the University of Pune.

- Prospectus & Application form can be obtained in any one of the 2 ways:
- Direct payment to Sri Balaji Society by Cash or Demand Draft:
- Prospectus can also be obtained directly by remitting cash (Rs. 400/-. Four hundred only) payment at the institute's office between 10 am to 5 pm or a Demand Draft (Rs. 500/-. Five hundred only) drawn in favour of 'The Principal, Balaji Law College' payable at Pune.
- Write the name, address of the candidate and the name of the institute on the reverse side of DD.

Moot Court Competition
Balaji Law College has conducts Moot Court Competition every year. Moot courts are artificial courts where the student’s lawyers are given the set of facts of a particular case which involves the dispute to be solved by employing the knowledge of law. Thus this practical experience of employing law in courts during the student’s life imbibes the qualities of lawyer in the law student. To mention the few qualities like;
- Imparting through knowledge of law
- Practical application of law
- Imparting the skills of advocacy
- Improving the communication skills etc.
