Chanakya National Law University is located in the ancient city of Patna, capital of Bihar, India. It was established under the Chanakya National Law University Act, 2006 (Bihar Act No. 24 of 2006) and included in section 2(f) of the U.G.C. Act, 1956.
The University aims at providing quality legal education and promoting legal awareness in the community at large in order to realise some of the goals envisaged in our Constitution.
