About Delhi University:
The Delhi University came into being as a result of an act past by the then Central Legislative Assembly in 1922. When the university had first commenced its operations it had started out with a modest 3 colleges operating under its management. The three colleges, St. Stephens College, Hindu College and Ramjas College, together comprised of around 750 students and two faculty sections related to the arts and science departments.
In the year 1933, the Delhi University campus was shifted to the Viceregal Lodge Estate which became its permanent residence till date. Even today the main campus of the Delhi University, which includes the central administrative offices, examination offices and the sports complex, is situated at the Viceregal Lodge Estate

Date of LLB Entrance Test:- Sunday, June 12, 2011
Date of LLM Entrance Test :- Sunday June 19, 2011
Result of LLB/ LLM Entrance Test:- Within one week of the test
Admission Procedure :- Candidates, except those belonging to the categories listed below, seeking admission to the doctoral programme are required to take the admission test to be held on 5th December 2010. Shortlisted candidates will thereafter be required to fill up the form of the Board of Research Studies (Management) at the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi by 31st January 2011.
Exemption from Admission Test :- Candidates exempted from the admission test will be required to apply by submitting the completed form of the Board of Research Studies at the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi by 31st January 2011. The application form should be accompanied with a demand draft of Rs. 250/- drawn in favor of the Registrar, University of Delhi.
