Located 5 Km east of Sagar city, Dr Hari Singh Gaur Vishwavidyalaya (University) has one of the most picturesque campuses in India. Dr Hari Singh Gaur Vishwavidyalaya is the 18th University of India as well as the oldest and the biggest university of Madhya Pradesh. It was founded by the munificence of Sir Hari Singh Gour’s hard earned money of about two crore rupees. The University has been awarded with an A Grade accreditation by the NAAC appointed by UGC.
