1. Tell us about you? What are you doing currently?
I am Kritika Khanijo, now in my second year of B.A.L.L.B(Hons.) at Dr.RMLNLU,Lucknow. I like "International law" and the "logic and analytical skills" that one needs to apply in order to understand law.
2. When did you start thinking about NLU ?
Well I was certain I didn’t want to take science. We had a lawyer who came to our school for a talk and that actually got me interested towards this profession.

General Knowledge

The rest I was taking coaching from LST and they supplied us with all the study material fro their side.
5.Have you taken any coaching? Do you thing coaching make a major impact in cracking CLAT?
I took classroom coaching from LST,Gurgaon. I agree coaching is important as it gives you an organized timeline to study and achieve results. However for something as vast as law, a coaching institute will never be able to help you with enough general knowledge or your mental math. One needs to put in extra hours of self study and in reading a good newspaper.
6.Did you joined any test series ?
I took test series of provided by LST,Gurgaon.
7.How many hours did you study daily ?
Its about studying smart and not studying hard. I prepared for a year but people who had a month of preparation got better results in that CLAT as they keep changing the pattern. One has to be alert and ready to face any challenge given in the paper. You cannot go with a predetermined notion in your head about the paper.
8.On which subject you give more stress and why ?
As my maths is slightly weak and it’s all about solving the questions quickly I gave stress on that subject. There are 10questions which can make or break your score. Plus one needs to be extremely thorough with their legal reasoning.
9.What do you think is the secret of your success?
- Focus
- Organization
- Hard Work
10. Any advise to our readers? What tips you want to share with our readers ?
- CLAT is just an exam, if you don’t crack it; it isn’t the end of your life. You can always take up law in the post graduation level.
- Prioritise. It’s important to have your priorities right.
- Read the newspaper daily, it saves a lot of time in the end going through Yearbooks and accumulating all that knowledge.
