The Indian Law Society was established in 1923 as a Public Charitable Trust registered under the Societies Registration Act. The Indian Law Society established the Law College in 1924, which has since then established itself as a premier institute for legal studies in India.The college was initially affiliated to the University of Bombay. With the establishment of the University of Pune in 1949, the college was affiliated to it. In 2004, the ILS Law College was accredited the A+ level by NAAC.
Set amidst a sprawling green campus in the heart of Pune, it offers students a holistic environment that encourages exposure to social, cultural, and physical activities that complement the top-of-the-class legal education imparted by the college.

Facilities
- ILS Law College Pune offers hostel facilities to both its male and female students. But admission is done purely on the basis of merit. While the boys hostel accommodates around 200 students the girl's hostel is available for 67 students.The ILS library is a treasure of more than 45, 128 books and bound volume of periodicals. The library facility can be accessed between 8.30 a.m. and between 4.30 p.m. ILS takes pride in its library as it provides necessary facilities like referencing, bibliography, photocopy, online public Access Catalogue (OPAC), reading room and home lending facilities.
- Students at ILS can engage in lots of recreational activities. It has two spacious grounds for cricket, basketball, volleyball, football and other sports, four tennis courts, one swimming pool and gym khana with a capacity of 200 to 300 people. It also provides periodical training to tennis, Yoga judo and Karate to the interested candidates.
- At ILS financial assistance under the students aid fund is also provided to students on the basis of attendance, tutorial work, good behavior, progress during the term and whose total annual family income does not exceed 18000/-

How To Get Into ILS Law College, Pune ?
Admission to ILS is based on merit and not on entrance test. The admission process starts in the month of May. For admission to the BSL five year course one needs to have a minimum of 45% (40% for SC/ST candidates) in10+2.The minimum qualification for admission to the LL.B three year course is to pass the graduation with minimum 45% marks (40% for SC/ST).

I have scored 91.2% in class 12th boards.I wanted to know that what are my chances for admission in ils pune as well as glc mumbai? what is this years cut off going to be for applicants outside maharashtra?
