ILSAT 2012 Notification

The Admission Modalities are with reference to the five year full-time Integrated BBA, LL.B (Hons.) Program and two year full-time LL.M. Program of Faculty of Law at The ICFAI University, Dehradun.

Selection to the program is highly competitive. The goal of the admissions committee is to select applicants whose academic background and communication skills meet the demands of the program and promise a successful career. Intelligent, ethical, articulate and active individuals are encouraged to pursue this program. The Admissions Committee evaluates applicants' prospects as future leaders and their projected ability to succeed and profit from this program.

Eligibility Criteria

BBA, LL.B (Hons.)

Pass with 50% and above aggregate marks in Class XII or equivalent (best of the 5 subjects including English).
Scores of CLAT / ILSAT / State Level Law Entrance Tests will be given weightage.
Age should be not more than 20 years as on the date of commencement of program classes.

LL.M

Bachelor Degree in Law with 55% aggregate marks.

OR

Integrated 5 year Degree program in Law with 55% aggregate marks.

If an applicant is found ineligible for whatever reasons even after admission into the Program, his/her admission will be cancelled. All admissions will be subject to verification of facts from the original certificates/documents of the students. The decision of the Admissions Committee regarding eligibility of any applicant shall be final.

Admission Process

The admission into the BBA, LL.B (Hons.) and LL.M. Programs are made through application. Eligible applicants are required to apply for the program using the Application Form. The University will offer provisional admissions subject to the students satisfying all the eligibility criteria. The admission would be confirmed only after all the required proof of eligibility have been produced by the student and verified by the Admissions Office. Due weightage is given to past academic record, academic distinctions, achievements in sports and extracurricular and co-curricular activities.

Reporting date for First Semester

All selected students have to pay the requisite fees through Demand Draft before they report to the University campus on June 25, 2012for BBA, LL.B. (Hons.). The Preparatory Classes for BBA, LL.B. (Hons.) will commence on July 02, 2012 for new students.

Applicants can get the prospectus and application form by making payment of Rs 800 towards the cost from the Admissions Office at ICFAI University, Dehradun from following address

Download of Application Form

Alternatively, applicants can download the Application Form fromwww.iudehradun.edu.in/fol, complete it and send it to the Admissions Officer along with the demand draft of Rs 800 towards the cost of Information Brochure and Application (DD in favor of "IUCF A/c IUD" payable at Dehradun). The Information Brochure and Application Material will be sent to such applicants.

Submission of Application Form

The applicants are required to complete the Application Form for Admission and submit to the Admissions Officer, through speed-post or courier on or before June 07, 2012 for BBA, LL.B.(Hons.) at the address given below:

Duly signed affidavit is required to be submitted by every student on the day of registration to the Program as per rules.
