College Information:
Shri Karpuri Thakur Law College was established in the year 1986 with the active and courageous steps taken by the founder, donor and first Principal of the college Mr. G. P. Mandal the senior Advocate of Buxar and members of managing committee students, staff who took great pain and hard labour to bring this college in to such a developed stage that BCI has accorded affiliation to impart legal education. Now the College named “Jannayak Karpuri Thakur Law College, Buxar.” The location of the College is at the north – east corner of the Buxar Town at the southern bank of the river Ganga and it is connected in the north through Road Bridge on the Ganga River from the district of Ballia & Ghazipur of U.P.
It is equally important to mention here that since its coming into existence it has made a land mark in the field of legal education Clinical Research and Providing Training for Legal Professionals & Judicial Officers to its students which is the only Center of Legal Education of this region
