Government of Kerala Law Entrance Examination 2012

About Exam:

Kerala Law Entrance Examination 2012, for graduate and post-graduate courses in various government law colleges in Kerala, is conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Thiruvananthapuram. The admission to the various courses. i.e the 5 year L.L.B course, 3 year L.L.B course and 2 year L.L.M course, is based on the rank of the candidate in the entrance examination.

KEAM 2012 Eligibility Criteria

  • 5 year L.L.B course -Candidates who have passed schooling or a 10+2 course which is recognized by the bar Council of India can also apply for admission to the course.
  • 3 year L.L.B course - Graduates from any discipline are allowed to appear for the entrance exam.
  • 2 year L.L.M course -Candidates who have passed the above two exams may apply for the 2 year LLM course.

Sale of security cards along with prospectus through selected post offices and on-line application submission: From 19th January, 2012, Thursday

Last date for sale of security cards: 14th February, 2012, Tuesday

Last date for receipt of on-line application submission: 14th February, 2012, Tuesday, 5.00 p.m.

Last date for receipt of on-line application print out along with supporting documents: 15th February, 2012, Wednesday

Date for downloading on-line admit cards: 24th March, 2012, Saturday

Medical

Chemistry and Physics (Paper-I): 25th April, 2012, 10.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

Biology (Paper-II): 26th April, 2012, 10.00 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.

Centre of examination: As indicated in the admit card

Application forms: Candidates seeking admission to the course can apply online through the web site www.cee-kerala.org of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations. There will be separate link for General, SEBC and SC/ST candidates. The site will be opened for online registration from 04.07.2012 to 16.07.2012, 5 p.m.


Application Fee: For General and SEBC candidates, the application fee is Rs.600/- (Rupees Six Hundred Only) and for SC/ST Candidates the application fee is Rs.300/- (Rupees Three Hundred Only).The required fee can be remitted at any branch of the State bank of Travancore using the Bank Chalan which is available in the online application print out. The original Chalan should be attached with the application form duly signed and authorized by Bank authorities on remittance of application fees. Candidates outside Kerala State can remit the application fee by attaching a Demand Draft for the requisite amount drawn on a Nationalized Bank in favour of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, payable at Thiruvananthapuram.

Last date and time for receipt of filled-in application forms: Candidates should take the printout of the online application and fix a passport size photograph same as the one which is uploaded, in the space provided. The photograph should be attested by the candidate and forward the same with all the required documents to the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Housing Board Buildings, 5th Floor, Santhinagar, Thiruvananthapuram – 695 001, either by Registered post or by hand delivery on or before 5 pm on 18.11.2012
