All India Bar Examination 2013

The maiden conduction of the All India Bar Examination 2013 has been made compulsory for all the law graduates of 2012 – 13 academic year. The candidates have to enroll themselves as the advocates as per the Section 24 of Law of Advocates before applying for the exam. The exam will be have multiple choice questions from 20 subjects of Category I and Category II.

The number of questions from each section has been fixed and the exam will be of 3.30 hrs duration. The candidates who are appearing for the first time have to pay an Application Fee of Rs. 1950/- and the re – appearing candidates have to pay Rs. 1450/- for the exam. This fee includes the Bank Processing charges.

All India Bar Examination 2013 will be conducted by the BAR council of India and will be organized to provide Certificate of Practice to the advocates. There is no limit on the number of attempts for the exam.

The AIBE 2013 candidates will also be provided the study material for the exam. The exam will be conducted in 9 languages and will be an OPEN BOOK test in which the candidate are allowed to bring the study material, books, hand written notes etc but no electronic gadgets etc are allowed.

The exam was pre - poned from the month of Decmber, 2012 to 25th November, 2012.
