New Eligibility Rules for Law Aspirants (Open Education): BCI

BAR COUNCIL OF INDIA

In view of the Bar Council of India, Legal Education Rules - 2008, University Grants Commission Act and Regulations, decision of Hon'ble Supreme Court of India and subsequent decision of High Court of Tamil Nadu, all Universities deemed to be Universities, Law Schools and others offering LL.B Courses are informed that applicants who have obtained +2 higher secondary pass certificate or First Degree certificate after prosecuting studies in distance or correspondence method shall also be considered as eligible for admission in the integrated five year course or three year LL.B course, as the case may be. However applicants who have obtained 10+2 or graduation/post graduation through open universities system directly without having any basic qualifications for prosecuting such studies are not eligible for admission in law courses.

They are further informed not to admit any candidate to the LL.B course having any Degree contrary to the University Grants Commission Act and Regulations and also Bar Council of India, Rules of Legal Education - 2008.

I have passed B.A. From Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU), with major English ,This is an international standard Degree and Syllabus in th world.
I have interest in Law Faculty so I fill up form of First L.L.B. due to Bar Council of India, Legal Education Rules - 2008 Rules it were rejected by Gujarat University associated collages.

I request you to close down such universities if there courses were not eligible for such purpose.

Very bad Rules it should be cleared.
Education sector getting poor day by day.Govt.,Councils made changes but fail to improove quality of Education in india.
You know that no body born till yet in this country to Changes Systems of Education emplemented in 1857 by British Govt. for making Clerks. in india.
