Notification Released date : 08/03/2012 (march 08th Thursday)
Application starting date : 10/03/2012 (march 10th saturday)
Application Last date : 18/04/2012 (april 18th wednesday)
Date of LAWCET 2012 Entrance exam: 02/06/2012 (June 02nd Saturday)
LAWCET 2012 Eligibility Criteria
A. 3 year LL.B./B.L. Course:
The Candidates for 3 year LL.B./B.L. should have passed any Graduate Degree of a recognized University with 45% of aggregate marks or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the Universities concerned.
Age Limit:
Maximum age for seeking admission into 3 year Law Degree Program is limited to 30 years in case of general category of applicants and to thirty five years in case of applicants from SC, ST and other Backward communities.
B. 5 Year LL.B./B.L. Course:
The Candidates for 5 year LL.B./B.L. should have passed two year Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) with 45% of aggregate marks or any other examination recognized as equivalent by the University concerned or the Board of Intermediate Education, A.P.
Age Limit:
Maximum age for admission into 5 year Law Degree program is limited to 20 years in case of general category of applicants and to twenty two years in case of applicants from SC, ST and other Backward communities.
LAWCET 2012 Reservation of seats
- 100% seats reserved for Andhra pradesh students ( Based on LAWCET 2012 score )
- Other states students are not allowed
LAWCET 2012 Exam Pattern
The question paper is set both in English and Telugu.
Qualifying marks
The qualifying percentage of marks in the Entrance Test is 35% (i.e. 42 marks out of total 120 marks). There are no minimum qualifying marks for SCs and STs for ranking.
LAWCET 2012 Syllabus
The Test is designed to evaluate the candidate’s ability and aptitude to pursue the study of Law. The Test consists of three parts, each carrying 40 marks. The questions will be of objective type and include multiple choice questions, matching items, and questions arising out of a small passage containing basic information.
Note: For 5 year Law Course, the standard expected is of Intermediate level and for 3 year Law Course, the standard expected is of Degree Level.
