
National Law Institute University was established in 1997 to provide legal education through multidisciplinary teaching and training of newer skills needed for the profession. The University launched its first academic programme in 1998.
National Law Institute University, known also as NLIU Bhopal, is one of the leading law institutes in India, known for providing high quality legal education, research and training. It puts in sense of broad perspective and challenging capabilities in its students. This university was established in 1997 by an Act of the Madhya Pradesh Legislature. The university, which started out with humble beginnings, has, over the years, distinguished itself as one of the most academically and professionally recognized university.
Courses:
The University is loyal to the use of modern methods of teaching and evaluation. It underlines the advantages of learning through small groups in proven setting. The courses have been designed to familiarize the students with black letter law in an interdisciplinary context and to make the students learn the basic skills needed by modern legal profession.
The university offers BA LLB, five year integrated course, and LLM program wherein reservation quota is available under the rules of Government of India. In addition, MP domicile quota is also provided to the respective candidates.
Facilities:
The University offers separate residential facilities for students. There is a Gyan Mandir building wherein library and cyber network center with faculty chambers are situated. The library is well equipped with over 30,000 volumes consisting of reference books, back volumes of journals and law reports, current legal periodicals and a wealth of statistical material and rare collections. Guest house, Cafeteria, Healthcare center, Banking, Transport and Sport facilities are the other facilities by the university. The university also provides placement to successful candidates.

Eligibility for Admission:-
To be eligible to appear for CLAT-2011, a candidate should have passed his/her Higher Secondary School/Intermediate Examination (10+2) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC and persons with Disability)*. Age of candidate should not be more than 20 years in case of General/OBC candidates (22 years in case of SC/ST and persons with Disability)* as on 1st July, 2011

Admission to National Law Institute University is through Common Law Admission Test 2011(CLAT 2011) on merit basis.
Intake
The NLIU admits 82 students for its B.A.LL.B (Hons.) program. Out of these 82 seats, 41 seats are for All India candidates and remaining 41 seats are for the residents of Madhya Pradesh to be filled up through Common Law Admission Test 2011.

My daughter has shown strong inclination for admission to NLIU Bhopal. She cleared her 10+2 CBSE with PCM with aggregate 60% and is now preparing for CLAT 2012. Please enlighten her future prospects if at all she clears CLAT 2012 and gets admitted and does well in BALLB. And also guide us the prospects as regards campus reqruitmentand or placements, if any?
