School of Law, Christ University (SLCU), Bangalore, is a part of Christ University, Bangalore, which was founded and is administered by Carmelites of Mary Immaculate (CMI). CMI, the first indigenous Catholic religious congregation of India with a membership of 2000, renders its service to humanity in educational, social, healthcare and other activities. Admission
Eligibility: A pass in Class 12 (10+2)/ PUC or equivalent with a minimum of 45% marks at the final examination is the minimum eligibility for appearing for SLCU Law Entrance Examination. The candidates should also be below the age of 20 years as on July 01, 2011.

Extra curricular and Co-curricular activities
Students of School of Law have made their presence felt at national and international moot court and client counseling competitions. The current faculty has experience both in terms of participating in National and International Moot Court Competitions and training students to compete at these events and also judging international moot court competitions. We have successfully organized the national round of ‘The Commonwealth Moot Court Competition, 2009’ and teams from 22 institutions participated. We have hosted training programs, national disarmament seminar and national nuclear disarmament workshop.

Christ University already has a proven track record for campus recruitment. Christites have been recruited on campus by companies like 3M, ABN Amro, Accenture, Dell Computers, Fedex US, Reliance Infocom, Citi Bank, Dubai, Citi Financials, Xerox Co, to name a few. School of Law will be using this existing relationship with corporates to ensure that all its students are recruited on campus. Christ College of Law is continuously expanding its network with professionals in the field and will be providing work opportunities and internships for graduating students.
