Free India's first Law Minister and one of the principle architects of the constitution, Dr. B. R. Ambedkar, had established the People’s Education Society in the year 1945, and the society established a Law College in the heart of Mumbai city in the name of Lord Siddharth styled as “Siddhartha College of Law” in the year 1956. The legal luminaries who have walked through its portals touch our lives even today.

It is managed and run by People Education Society. The college is affiliated to Mumbai University, Mumbai. Siddharth College of Law imparts undergraduate level programme in the law field - Bachelor of Laws (LLB), a three-year full time programme. Apart from UG courses, the college also imparts postgraduate diploma level programmes in the field of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and Labor Law and Labor Welfare (LL&LW). All these courses of the college are approved by Bar Council of India (BCI), Government of India. Siddharth College of Law is well equipped with state-of-the-art facilities provided to its students.

Eligibility Criteria :

  • The aspirants, who have passed bachelor’s level of examination in any stream, are eligible to apply for this programme.


Selection Procedure:

  • The admission is based on LSAT 2011 Entrance Examination.
